WordPress 4.5.1 was released today to fix 12 bugs within the previous version. No new features were released. All client sites were upgraded. More information on the current release can be found here....

Client sites were upgraded to WordPress 4.5 today. WordPress 4.5 was released early last week, but client upgrades were delayed due to a large number of websites reporting issues upgrading to the WordPress version (mostly due to jQuery href selector errors). I recently wrote about a domain transfer 45 day rule. In addition to that rule, there is another rule to keep in mind when transferring domains. If the domain is a newly registered domain, transfers are not allowed within the first 60 days of the initial registration period.
A domain name is in the first 60 days of an initial registration period.

A new version of WordPress (4.4.2) was released to close a security vulnerability and also fix 17 bugs from versions 4.4.1 and 4.4. All client WordPress websites have been updated. More information on the current release can be found here.
